The Cane Corso is an noble and majestic Italian breed designed for hunting wild boar and guarding property. This dog has a muscular, well defined build and averages 100-150lbs with a life expectancy of 10-11 years. You will find his light-shedding coat, described as being like that of a cow’s, in black, blue, brindle, grey and fawn.

The Cane Corso has a strong willingness to please and forms a close bond with it’s primary owner. A calm, even tempered and intelligent dog, the cane corso bonds closely with it’s human family and can be very affectionate towards children. This dog has proven to be highly trainable and, because of it’s atheltic build, requires plenty of exercise to stay happy and healthy.
